About Us

Dondlinger Image Dondlinger & Sons Construction has much in common with the cities we help to build. Dondlinger & Sons began its journey over a century ago in 1898 when N.L. Dondlinger founded our firm. The firm initially established operations in Claflin, Kansas and ultimately relocated to Wichita in 1925. Proudly, our firm enjoys the title as the most experienced contractor in its market. Dondlinger was a charter member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Kansas in 1941. Dondlinger & Sons has left a tremendous mark throughout the city of Wichita and the state of Kansas.

With operations still headquartered in Wichita, Dondlinger has built many of the facilities and structures critical to the vitality of our city.

N.L. DondlingerAt Dondlinger & Sons, serving our clients to the best of our ability is realized in our commitment to providing an extraordinary quality, delivered on time and within budget. This commitment has guided our company and management activities for over 108 years, through public and private projects varying in sizes and capacities. While our long history indicates our extensive experience in the field, we believe that each project contains its own set of opportunities and challenges that are unique to its site, function and community. Our track record of major projects has earned us a reputation for being creative, technologically advanced and extremely responsive to our customers.

Our company has grown over the years to a staff of 220, becoming one of the largest and most diversified construction companies in this region of Kansas. Our organization is built with self-motivated individuals who prove themselves on every job: the construction workers, office personnel, the project superintendents, right up to the senior management. For our clients, this competive environment guarantees quality, time and cost savings and competitive bids in every arena.
